We have vast local knowledge and experience acquired through on the ground presence within Mozambique and the South/East African region. He is responsible for the project development and renewable energy division. Boris holds a Master of Science from the Stockholm University specializing in energy development. He holds over 8 years of experience in research, project management and business development. Key focus areas include: renewable energy, bio-energy, climate financing, market development and social impact assessments. Boris holds strong experience in developing feasibility studies, business plans and managing projects within the mentioned fields. Notable projects include: cotton waste to electricity (2MW) project in Cuamba district; A mini hydro electrification project in Niassa; the introduction of ethanol cook-stoves in the Mozambican market; solar home system market development; as well as a sustainable charcoal production business in Gaza province. Boris has recently been involved in a number of Environmental and Social Impact Assessments.
She is responsible for the consulting services. Mayra is an integrated professional with an Master of Science in environmental and geographical sciences from the University Of Cape Town. She has over 7 years of work experience in research and consulting services, with companies and organizations that include WIOMSA, IUCN and Impacto. Key focus areas include: ESIAs, compensation and resettlement, agro-ecological zoning, climate change and benefit-sharing. Mayra has been involved with the following industries: oil & gas, mining, agriculture, forestry, energy, tourism and fisheries. Notable projects include: strategic impact assessment of the coast of Mozambique, ESIAs for the development of an LNG plant in the northern Mozambique (onshore), the offshore LNG plant, GTL plant, open-cast and underground mines in Tete; Mayra has recently been involved in renewable energy projects, with particular focus on mini-grid and alternative fuels.
